In just two months, WES members pitched in and raised over $10,000 -- exceeding our goal of $6,500 -- for the next phase of the project to bring clean, running water to our sister community of El Rodeo, El Salvador. The project began 5 years ago, with WES members buying temporary water filters for every home in El Rodeo, as well as the school. The recent effort will go to purchase the local spring which will be the source of a future water system. Clean water is the top priority of people in the community.Sunday, February 1, 2015
WES Members Open their Wallets for El Rodeo Water Project
In just two months, WES members pitched in and raised over $10,000 -- exceeding our goal of $6,500 -- for the next phase of the project to bring clean, running water to our sister community of El Rodeo, El Salvador. The project began 5 years ago, with WES members buying temporary water filters for every home in El Rodeo, as well as the school.
